Customs / International Trade Attorney (Hybrid)

Position
An international trade law practice seeks an attorney to support customs and import-related matters. The role involves advising on U.S. customs law and working on compliance, regulatory, and agency matters. The position offers hands-on involvement in active matters and the opportunity to manage work with increasing independence.
Responsibilities
Analyze customs issues, including tariff classification, valuation, and country of origin
Work on customs compliance reviews, post-entry audits, and CBP inquiries
Conduct legal and factual research related to customs and trade regulations
Draft memoranda, correspondence, and submissions to government agencies
Coordinate filings and manage regulatory and litigation deadlines
Work collaboratively with attorneys and other professionals on client matters
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law school
2–7 years of experience in customs, international trade, or related regulatory work
Admission to a U.S. state bar (DC preferred)
Strong research, writing, and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple matters independently
