International Trade Associate

We are actively seeking a mid-level associate to join our Washington, DC office. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-stakes international trade matters, focusing on proceedings before the U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC).

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent domestic industries in antidumping (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) investigations and reviews before the USITC

  • Draft legal briefs, submissions, and pre-/post-hearing statements in trade remedy proceedings

  • Conduct fact development and manage investigative records related to injury and causation

  • Collaborate closely with economists, consultants, and clients to develop case strategy

  • Prepare clients and witnesses for testimony and public hearings

  • Analyze complex market, economic, and import data to support legal arguments

  • Coordinate with U.S. Department of Commerce counsel on parallel proceedings

Qualifications

  • 6 to 8 years of substantive experience in trade litigation, particularly USITC AD/CVD matters

  • Exceptional legal writing and research skills, with a demonstrated ability to manage complex records and filings

  • Strong academic background from a top-tier law school

  • Must be an active member of the Washington, DC Bar

  • Detail-oriented, client-focused, and able to thrive in fast-paced, high-profile cases
