
Director of Finance
This position is responsible for ensuring financial integrity, overseeing financial management processes, and driving strategic financial initiatives in collaboration with stakeholders at local, regional, and global levels.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with the US leadership and senior management to drive financial performance, strategic investments, and business growth initiatives.
Deliver clear and concise financial insights, monthly performance reports, variance analysis, KPIs, and strategic commentary for executive review.
Conduct detailed financial modeling, feasibility studies, and investment evaluations to support expansion plans.
Represent the financial perspective in high-level decision-making while maintaining transparency and integrity.
Support the leadership team in key engagements, including negotiations with airport authorities, regulatory agencies, and major clients.
Lead the annual budgeting process, long-term financial projections, and the development of investment proposals.
Financial Operations, Compliance, and Team Leadership
Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance of financial statements with both local regulations and internal standards.
Collaborate with shared service centers and external auditors to maintain high standards of financial compliance and reporting.
Oversee local statutory accounting, corporate tax filings, and other regulatory requirements.
Lead and develop the finance and accounting team, promoting efficiency and process improvement.
Monitor and improve day-to-day financial operations, including accounts payable/receivable, procurement, and accounting activities.
Conduct regular balance sheet reviews, resolve discrepancies, and uphold robust internal controls.
Manage billing and collections processes, partnering with sales and commercial teams to optimize cash flow.
Ensure adherence to financial policies, procurement protocols, and tax compliance guidelines.
Act as the key liaison with banks, auditors, legal advisors, and tax authorities.
Optimize resource allocation and procurement strategies to control costs and drive value.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, with a strong preference for backgrounds in multinational corporations or international audit firms.
At least 5 years of experience in a supervisory capacity, demonstrating strong commercial and strategic acumen.
Solid knowledge of GAAP, financial auditing standards, and corporate finance policies.
Familiarity with GASB, FASB, and GFOA standards as well as grant-related accounting (federal and state).
Proven leadership experience managing multi-site or multi-time zone finance teams.
Ability and willingness to travel occasionally within the United States.
