
Product Manager - eCommerce
SUMMARY: Everest client seeks a highly motivated and skilled Ecommerce Product Manager to join our dynamic team. The Ecommerce Product Manager will play a key role in driving the strategy, development, and growth of our online products and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and operations, to deliver exceptional user experiences and meet business objectives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
o Define and communicate the product vision and roadmap for ecommerce platforms, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
o Lead the strategic planning of ecommerce initiatives and identify new opportunities to drive sales and improve customer engagement.
o Work closely with engineering, design, and UX teams to build and deliver features that enhance the online shopping experience.
o Define and prioritize product requirements, creating detailed user stories and functional specifications.
o Manage the full product lifecycle from concept through to launch and post-launch optimization.
o Collaborate with internal and external teams to ensure seamless product launches and ongoing support.
o Coordinate with data analytics teams to track key performance indicators (KPIs), gather insights, and make data-driven decisions.
o Continuously assess customer feedback, behavior, and trends to drive improvements in the ecommerce platform.
o Ensure the user experience (UX) is intuitive, engaging, and meets customer expectations across all devices (mobile, desktop, etc.).
o Conduct market research and stay up to date with ecommerce trends and competitor activity.
o Identify market opportunities and threats, incorporating findings into product strategy and development.
o Manage product backlogs and work closely with engineering and design teams to ensure on-time delivery of features.
o Track product performance post-launch and continuously optimize for improved results.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience (3+ years) as an Ecommerce Product Manager or similar role, with a track record of successful product launches.
- Understanding of ecommerce platforms, digital marketing strategies, and customer journey optimization.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies, and experience using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana).
- Experience with A/B testing, user research, and data analysis to inform product decisions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
- Experience in Ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, Magento, or WooCommerce.
- Knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.).
- Background in UI/UX design or working closely with design teams.
