Masker (Metal Finishing) – Los Angeles Metropolitan Area

A leading metal finishing company in the Los Angeles metropolitan area is seeking a Masker to support its plating operations. This is a direct hire position offering a competitive salary in the range of $45,000 – $62,000 annually, depending on experience. We're currently filling roles for  2nd Shift (2pm-10:30pm PST) and  3rd shift (10pm-6:30am PST)

This role is a key part of the production process, responsible for precisely masking designated areas of components to ensure accuracy and quality throughout the plating cycle. Working closely with Plating Technicians, the Masker plays a vital role in delivering high-quality finished products.

Position Overview

• Apply masking materials such as tapes, plugs, and coatings to protect non-plated surfaces
• Read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and technical specifications
• Prepare parts for plating through cleaning, masking, and fixturing
• Remove masking materials post-process and inspect for quality
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards
• Support production flow and meet daily output targets

Qualifications

• Previous experience in manufacturing, metal finishing, or a similar hands-on environment preferred
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive precision work
• Comfortable working with small parts and using hand tools
• Ability to read basic technical drawings or willingness to learn
• Team-oriented with a strong work ethic
